2019 ICIC National Conference: Driving Inclusive Prosperity in Under-Resourced Communities

Mary Aviles attended the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC) National Conference in Boston in November 2019. ICIC is a national nonprofit research and advisory organization and an authority on U.S. inner city economies and the businesses that thrive there. Their mission is to drive economic prosperity in America’s inner cities through private sector investment to create jobs, income, and wealth for local residents. Michael Porter was the conference keynote discussing the Role of Business in Society.
